Always Keeping the Customer in Mind at United Rotary

United Rotary Brush Corporation repeatedly sets the industry standard for quality, value and service, boasting more than 80 years of combined experience in rotary broom design and manufacturing. Company founder, Dick Savage, began his career in the industrial brush business in 1983 with the purchase of Kennedy Brush in Kansas City. Two years later, he purchased Marysville Brush of Ohio. In 1990, the two companies merged to form United Rotary Brush Corporation.

In 1994, the company was involved with yet another merger, this time with Rantex Brushes Inc. of Barrie, Ontario, Canada. The merger gave United Rotary Brush Corporation the market presence to serve the entire North American road and runway broom market. Finally, in 1998, the acquisition of Sweeper Brushes, Inc. of Canada completed United Rotary’s Canadian expansion.

United Rotary’s desire to grow didn’t stop there, and the acquisitions and expansions continued into the 2000s. In 2002, they purchased Nationwide Wire & Brush Manufacturing of California, along with the addition of the brush manufacturing division of Ben-ko-matic of Portland, Oregon in early 2006. That year also prompted more changes in the leadership structure to accommodate the continued growth of the company. Dick Savage’s son, Rod, took the helm as President, with the elder Savage moving to the role of Chairman. Then, in April of 2010, United Rotary expanded their service to the West Coast, with the purchase of American Rotary Broom out of Southern California.

United Rotary is constantly looking at new and exciting innovations for their industry, and they always have their customers’ best interest in mind. Their goal is to constantly offer great products at competitive prices. With so many different types of influences affecting commodity costs, including a tough economy, United Rotary strives to keep their costing structure accurate, therefore passing on the best possible price to their customer. They pride themselves on their customer service, and you won’t find better people to work with in the industry!
