Deep in the Heart of Texas

The World of Asphalt Expo was big and bright as it wrapped up another successful event on March 21 in San Antonio, Texas with near record-breaking attendance.

More than 6,000 pavement maintenance contractors, asphalt and aggregate producers, fleet managers, highway contractors, traffic safety professionals, plant operators, and public officials escaped to the warm weather to check out the latest equipment, products and services.

The show had more than 123,500 square feet of show space that featured new products and services in asphalt production and recycling equipment, road building machinery, pavement maintenance equipment, soil stabilizers, information technology, chemical and petroleum products, pollution control, testing equipment, work zone safety and traffic management, and trucks and trailers.

The show’s education program sold more than 8,000 tickets to sessions lead by industry organizations like Asphalt Pavement Alliance (APA), People, Plants and Paving Training Program, and AGG1 Academy covering the latest issues and trends, best practices, business management, drilling, community relations, government affairs and advocacy, and roundtables.
