The North American Power Sweeping Association is all about education. Part of that education process is helping our members and our industry to work safe. It is for this reason that NAPSA is proud to introduce the first set in our “Safety is Job 1” poster series!
Keeping your crews safe and productive keeps the organization moving forward. Each quarter, NAPSA will provide members with a series of posters intended to motivate and educate.
The first poster in our new series is immortalizing the words of Dr. Martin Luther King: “If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.’” NAPSA members have pride in their industry and their work!
The second and third posters in our first series depict very serious hazards of distracted driving and drowsy driving. Both of these situations can not only be hazardous, but also, in many cases, fatal. NAPSA is continuing to work to feature more topics and posters which will be distributed to members each quarter.
In addition to our safety posters, NAPSA offers members the opportunity to purchase branded safety gear at our NAPSA online store. This store has safety vests, hats, shirts and jackets which are all customizable with the NAPSA logo, the Certified Sweeping Company logo (for CSC members only) as well as your organization’s logo. These items can have any combination of all three.
